The Intersection is dynamic mixed‐use development located on the border of Oakland and Emeryville. It includes 107 multifamily apartments and the adaptive reuse of more than 20,000 square feet of commercial space.

The Intersection was one of the first projects built by Factory_OS’ modular production facility. Upon completion, the project was donated to UC Berkeley and currently provides desperately needed housing for graduate students. It offers an attractive integration of historic and modern architecture alongside robust public spaces. With an accessible public plaza and 7,000 square foot rain garden, the Intersection serves as a community-oriented focal point for the surrounding neighborhood.
